The Vault System is a revolutionary Web-based surgical planning software tool that enables the surgeon to efficiently pre-plan joint replacement procedures and design personalized surgical approaches for each individual patient. It's the only software system of its kind that allows the surgeon to decide which implant brand and alignment (mechanical, anatomical or kinematic) are best for your patient and take anatomical measurements directly from MRI or CT data. The Vault System is currently available in US for orthopedic and trauma procedures.
The UNIKO PointCloud Knee Instrument (PKI) is a personalized surgical instrument to assist the surgeon in implant positioning during total knee replacement surgery based on the pre-op plan from the Vault System. It's a customized single use drill and saw guide for marking or cutting bone. Made of bio-compatible plastics, the PKI is machined from a solid block of plastic material unlike powder 3D printing, and is steam autoclavable. The PKI is currently available in the US for total knee replacement procedures.
Unik Orthopedics combines leading edge-technologies from personalization and robotics to create a marker less bone-mounted surgical assisted robot (SAR). Using the Vault System and PointCloud Knee Instrument, a customized bone registration guide is used during the total knee procedure to position the robot on the patient's bone based on the pre-operative plan. Subsequently, the surgeon can in real-time adjust the position and size of the implant for each individual patient during the procedure. This personalized approach to SAR offers a higher value, are easy to use, streamline procedures and solve the OR space limitations especially in ASCs. Currently, NOT available in the US.
